Google Ads and Analytics are not privacy-friendly and a questionable choice for an open-source project #194
Description
It’s strange that I have to actually block privacy-invasive scripts on your open-source website, which is not in line with the general FOSS spirit and possibly hinders some people from pressing that Donate button.
In my opinion, instead of partially funding the website with Google Ads, it would be better to only rely on donations.
For analytics, please replace Google Analytics with any of the privacy-friendly alternatives listed here – Matomo is probably the most well-known one.
