Configuration
There are several options that can be changed within 1-23 in the /Worksheet Global Default menu. Remember to save your changes with Update to make them permanent, otherwise they will be discarded when you exit.
There are several runtime options available to set in ~/.l123set, you can use the file share/lotus/etc/l123set.cf as a template file.

| 1001 | Version | Used to construct the directory path. |
| 1002 | Base Directory | Where 1-2-3 finds it's runtime files. |
| 1003 | Printer Interface | Command to send documents to the printer (Note: not working). |
| 1004 | Graphics Driver | Currently ignored, as only the tty driver works on Linux. |
| 1005 | Country Driver | Controls sorting, number display, etc. Can be changed. |
| 1006 | Resource Language | Language of menus, status messages. Only English currently available. |
| 1007 | Help Language | Language of help. Only English currently available. |
| 1008 | File name mode | Lotus can operate in DOS filename mode for compatibility. |
| 1009 | Keymaps Directory | Where the keymap files are located, if you generate new ones. |
| 1010 | Keymap File | You can override $TERM with this setting. |
| 1011 | Display Char Set | You can choose between Latin1, CP437, ASCII, LRF (?). |
| 1012 | File Char Set | As above, but for files. |
