[FR, low prio] Source mode behaviour

Hi, thanks for the plugin! I think that the current behaviour in Source Mode is inconsistent: the task status is plain text but when I click on a date I still get the date selector popup. I'd rather the plugin would only be accessible in Source Mode with the gutter icon.
