[FR]: add a Global Filter to ignore checkboxes that don't contain a certain string

It would be helpful to add a setting that lets you set a custom string that has to be present in the text of a checkbox item for that item to be treated as a task. This would be a setting that applies across the entire vault and causes all checkboxes that don't contain that string to be ignored by the Task Genius plugin as they are not considered tasks. For example, if you set the string to todo:

• todo: this would be treated as a task
• this would be ignored by the plugin / would not be treated as a task

This would allow you to use checkboxes in your notes for purposes other than task management while using the Task Genius plugin.

This feature exists in the Tasks plugin where it is called Global Filter. Instituting it in Task Genius would also improve compatibility with Tasks and make it easier for people who have built vaults around the Tasks plugin to switch over or add Task Genius to their existing setup.

I'd like to second the request for a global filter option similar to what the Tasks plugin offers.

The use case: I often use task lists in Obsidian for different purposes - some are actual tasks I want tracked and managed, while others are just formatting for documentation, presentation scripts, or instructional content.

How Tasks plugin handles this: Their global filter setting lets you specify a tag (e.g., #task) that must be present for a task list item to be treated as a trackable task. Task lists without the tag are ignored by the plugin. This keeps things clean and intentional.

Why this would be valuable for Task Genius: It would allow users to:

• Use task list formatting freely throughout their vault without cluttering the task management system
• Be explicit about which items should be tracked vs. which are just visual formatting
• Avoid false positives in queries and views

I would love to see this added to Task Genius. Thanks for considering it!
