Self-decoding overhead and the crossover file size #41

Shipping a decoder with a dataset costs bytes and costs startup time. Below some file size that cost dominates any encoding advantage, and the honest thing is to publish where that line falls rather than to only show files above it.

Done when the crossover point is measured and published as a size, with the decoder size and the startup cost broken out.
