Instagram is a Tier-C site: most anonymous API paths are blocked from datacenter IPs. The client hits the web_profile_info JSON endpoint (X-IG-App-ID: 936619743392459) for profile and recent-posts data, and falls back to og: meta tag parsing on the HTML page when the API is refused. Every blocked signal (401, 403, login redirect, login_required body) returns ErrBlocked, which the CLI maps to exit 5. Tests cover the happy path, four blocked variations (401, 403, JSON body, redirect), the HTML fallback, retry-on-5xx, no-retry-on-403, and parseMetaTags edge cases. All tests use httptest; no real network calls.
