Hello! This does look like a typo, but isn't. Using ~deck is shorthand for /home/deck and is needed in this case since the previous sudo -i line results in a root shell, where ~/ would lead to /root/ instead.

oh right that makes sense! my bad haha, when i was installing it i cd first before running sudo -i and was wondering why the ~deck was necessary
