A simply useful HTTP and TLS test server designed to run in any environment and always be reachable and useful for debugging/verification.
./http-test-server --tls --servername $HOSTNAME
./http-test-server --http --tls --clientauth mutual
Usage of ./http-test-server:
-ca-file="": The CA file path to use for CA
-cert-file="": The cert file path to use for TLS server
-clientauth="none": TLS verification of client; One of 'none', 'request', 'verify', 'require', 'mutual' (mutual is most secure)
-config="": path to config file
-http=false: Start the HTTP server
-http-addr=":8080": socket address to listen for HTTP on
-key-file="": The cert key file path to use for TLS server
-keysize="4096": The number of bits for the RSA key to use for TLS
-max-tls-version="1.3": The maximum TLS version to accept, 1.0-1.3
-min-tls-version="1.0": The minimum TLS version to accept, 1.0-1.3
-servername="server.localhost": The common name and servername for TLS
-skipverify=false: Skip TLS verification (does not apply to client auth)
-tls=false: Start the HTTPS/TLS server
