How To Handle Fast Reload

Is there a graceful way to handle fast reload for this process for when connecting to things like cursor.ai.

Every time I get a SSE error when the connection closes or struggle with the connection not closing. Wondering how other people handle this. 

I am wondering with how people deal with this.
