WinDD already tries to use the default Windows transition animation. There may be a bug that keeps it from working.

Are you using the Microsoft Store version of WinDD? Also can you confirm that the following Windows setting is enabled?

Thank you for your reply. Yes, I am using the Microsoft Store version. I have already enabled the settings you mentioned, but after disabling that setting, the wallpaper transition still has no fade animation.
