Eliminate direct external link usages

Instead of different direct external references use the the dedicated external_links.yml everywhere

Currently searching with the regex `\[.*\]\(http(s)*:\/\/.*\)` in all the `*.md` files we have 231 hardcoded external links, a bunch of the are duplicated as well.
