Reporting Issues

If you experience any issues, you can open a new issue here. Be sure to include the following, if possible:

• A brief description of the problem
• Steps to recreate
• Screenshot(s) or video recording
• The log events created around the time the issue occurred
• Which version of the application you were using (e.g. v0.7.0-beta, v0.6.0, etc.)

Note

On first startup, SAM creates two log files, errors.txt and log.txt, in the logs subfolder. As the name suggests, errors.txt includes any ERROR or higher log level events. log.txt contains INFO or higher log events.

Tip

You don't have to include the entire log file(s) with your issue. Opening the files in a text editor and copying the relevant information is usually enough.
