Agreed, If I understand, this is useful when symfony app is readonly and logs folder is defined byAPP_LOG_DIR outside symfony app, for example /tmp/log. In this case symfony app keep readonly

Thanks for the review. I committed some updates.

filesystems don't need to create it manually or make it writable.

The feature to create the log directory automatically was introduced in Symfony 7.3.
