This PR adds new cmark C APIs that expose the list marker characters for unordered lists (-, *, or +)

Looks good, thanks! I like this idea as an API, especially if we can leverage it in Swift-Markdown to (for example) emit bulleted lists in the markdown renderer as they were written.
