Feature Request: tls/ssl https server configuration?

Just an idea I had is could we configure flying fox to serve http requests over an https connection instead of just http? Id imagine it could be configuration driven so you could pass flying fox a cert and key file to properly setup tls/ssl https. This is useful when service web apps that use apis that only operate over an https connection (webXR, web crypto, and probably several other web apis) if its beyond the scope of this project, that's totally fine, just thought I would ask.

TSL/SSL support is quite a large feature and currently beyond the scope of the project. It's been requested previously #34 and the rationale remains — we want FlyingFox to be lightweight and be fast to compile.

One possible avenue would be to support TLS/SSL on Apple platforms that include the Network Framework, but this may require some substantial rework as existing comms is built on top of the cross platform BSD socket API.

It's possible to run FlyingFox behind a reverse proxy that implements TLS — I do this with Google Cloud Run example, here are some sites I host using this technique:

Yeah I'm using FlyingFox in an iOS app so network apis would be available to me easily. I don't have any strong desire to make a fork that implements that yet. It was an idea for an offline server with zero external dependencies so as long as devices had a LAN connection they could access the server. Sadly some modern web apis only operate on an https connection. That said sometimes it's better to use a full computer for the server and keep mobile apps simple. I can just spin up a server on my MacBook easily with https.

The https reverse proxy idea sounds good but I'd have to find another swift package to run that in the app too I mean that probably would work but that means in some cases there would be 3 servers running in my app in parallel.

Definitely more to explore and not something you have to worry about.

Thanks for making FlyingFox it definitely is really nice and I appreciate you responding to all sorts of questions how to use it.
