This repository contains a Power BI dashboard analyzing an organization’s sales and operational performance from July 2023 to July 2025. The goal of this project is to demonstrate how data storytelling, structured data modeling, and interactive visual design can improve business clarity and drive decision-making.

The dashboard is divided into four main interactive pages, utilizing custom tooltips and slicers to allow users to toggle between time periods, product categories, and customer segments for instant visual updates:
- Sales Overview: Tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) including a Total Sales Revenue of 1.36M. It features a dynamic Sales Trend area chart analyzing revenue by Year, Quarter, and Month.
- Product Performance: Provides product-level insights for an inventory of 473 Total Products. It includes a Stock Status Summary (tracking High, Medium, and Low stock) and highlights bestsellers like the "Focus Tool" which leads with 16.9K in sales.
- Customer Insights: Explores buyer behaviors through customer segmentation, mapping a base of 440 New Customers against 298 Returning Customers. It also tracks Region-wise Customer Count and Loyalty Score Distributions.
- Regional Performance: Showcases goal tracking across the East, South, West, and North regions. It visualizes an overall Achievement Percentage of 1.12, comparing a total achieved amount of 31.17M against a target of 27.73M.
This project served as a practical application of key Business Intelligence concepts, bridging the gap between raw data and actionable insights:
- Analytics & SQL: Applied BI foundations to prepare the data, utilizing strategic joins and filtering to structure the dataset for analysis.
- Power BI Workflow: Executed end-to-end data cleaning, built a robust data model, and established active relationships between tables to ensure accurate cross-filtering.
- Visual Design: Implemented UI/UX best practices for reporting. Designed interactive elements, page navigation, and customized tooltips to enhance storytelling and user exploration.
