Canceling modified parameters if modifying instructions overlap

A question

What has priority over what?
Added code in vertical ruler over Modifier, or vice versa?
Simplyfied example: If I insert gcode M104 at the same layer where Modifier is active with temperature change, how will this be processed?
2.
Is it possible to overlap layer ranges in Height Range Modifier or should I always have ranges separated and combine instructions accordingly?

The vertical ruler allows you to inject a piece of GCode just after the "layer change custom gcode". The modifier modifies the settings used to slice & create gcode over its volume.

You can't have layer range to overlap. The first one will be used, and no other can until it stops. I should add something in the GUI to enforce that fact. Maybe a color and a tooltip.
