My name is Abdullah. I am a practicing Muslim from Bangladesh who tries to incorporate Alhamdulillah, SubhanAllah, and InShaAllah in daily life as reminders of Allah’s blessings, glory, and divine will.

Your purpose in using this API:
InShaAllah, I am building a Flutter-based mobile application designed as a daily Hadith companion for Bengali-speaking Muslims. The goal is to help users stay spiritually connected by offering a simple, swipe-based interface to read Hadiths daily. A unique feature of the app will be mood-based filtering, allowing users to receive Hadiths tailored to their emotional or spiritual state — whether they are feeling hopeful, sad, grateful, or reflective — to remind them of Allah's mercy and guidance in every situation. The app is free from ads, especially anything haram, and is made with the intention of earning reward (Sadaqah Jariyah), InShaAllah.
API rate limits:
Maximum requests per second: 1
Maximum requests per day: 500
(These are starting estimates; we will optimize based on user base growth, InShaAllah.)
Is your use case better served by having an offline dump of hadith data or programmatic API access?
Offline access would be most beneficial for us, InShaAllah, as we are building an app that follows an offline-first approach to ensure users can read Hadiths even without internet access. However, programmatic access may also be helpful for updates or new content.
What are the languages in which would you like hadith data?
Primarily Bengali (Bangla) for the end users.
Additionally, English and Arabic may be useful for cross-reference and translation accuracy, InShaAllah.
What programming language will your API client be in?
The application is being developed using Dart via the Flutter framework.
