Your purpose in using this API:
I’ve developed an AI-powered chatbot — Ask Sunnah — now live at www.asksunnah.online, which helps users explore Hadiths via natural language queries. I’m now looking to expand support for Arabic and Urdu alongside English to improve accessibility.
API rate limits:
Maximum requests per second: 5
Maximum requests per day: 10,000 (or as your policy permits)
Is your use case better served by having an offline dump of hadith data or programmatic API access?
I would prefer having both, but to support multilingual search and reduce API load, a full offline SQL dump including English, Arabic, and Urdu hadiths would be ideal.
What are the languages in which would you like hadith data?
English, Arabic, and Urdu
What programming language will your API client be in?
Python (Flask backend) with JavaScript (Next.js frontend)
