[NEW CONTENT] Detail the limitations of sessions & concurrency with agents #480

@zastrowm

Description

@zastrowm

Proposed Content

We don't explicitly call out that sessions are supposed to be 1:1 with an agent/conversation and that session-management is designed around that. Specifically we should guide folks on:

  • That conversations should be 1:1 with an agent
  • That agents are cheap to instantiate
  • The need for distributed locking when an agent could be triggered twice (e.g. lambda) for a single sesion-id

Location

Maybe here: https://strandsagents.com/latest/documentation/docs/user-guide/concepts/agents/session-management/

Rationale

We receive a lot of questions/confusion about this
