About 📖

Description

Shef is an android app created with react native that uses the mealdb api to show users recipes in a nice way. the user can see all it's recipes, filter them by name,area or origin, see a recipe with all the details such as how to prepare, ingredients, tags etc... or he can also choose to see a random recipe.

Objective

The project was developed with the intention to improve our knowledge about react,react native and also learn how to consume a third party api.

Installation 👷‍♂️

Installing dependencies

inside the folder mobile, run: yarn or npm install

Running the app on Android, in development mode:

yarn run android or react-native run-android

Starting the development server

yarn start or react-native start

Features 🛠✨

• User can see recipes in a feed
• User can filter recipes by category (chicken,dessert...), origin (Japanese,Portuguese) or name (arrabiata, chicken casserole, etc...)
• User can see a random recipe
• User can see a recipe with full details
