I felt like CC0 would be best since this is a fairly trivial piece of code. It's what I would personally pick.
By merging, you agree to license (or waive the copyright to) your code under CC0 1.0, obviously.
This is meant to be an Issue-esque PR, primarily to serve as a reminder to put a copyright license on literally anything you intend for the public to use. I feel like the Expat/MIT license would also work, if you want others to be obligated to give credit.
