Slack Agent Builder Challenge

Slack × Salesforce · build a Slack agent solving a real workflow inside Slack · deadline 2026-07-13 17:00 PT. Prizes: up to $74,400, 9 winners, Dreamforce 2026 feature.

Status

  • slackhack-research-brief.md — verified research brief (Rally skeleton, Slack facts)
  • .lavish/slackhack-prep.html — the prep playbook (machine → target → 8-day plan → decisions)
  • ▶ Ideation war room was fired (track + pillar left to the room). When it lands: slackhack-decision-memo.md + .lavish/slackhack-kickoff.html (the GO board).
  • META_PROMPT.md — re-run the whole pipeline hands-off from a fresh session.

Canonical home is this folder. A working copy of the running war room also lives in ~/slackhack/.

The bar

(1) real, specific Slack workflow — not a generic chatbot in a Slack UI; (2) use ≥1 required tech (Agent Builder/Agentforce · MCP server · RTS API) in a way not otherwise possible; (3) clear impact. Two tracks: Agent for Good (social benefit) / Agent for Organizations (adoption). Submit a <3-min demo video + architecture diagram + a dev-sandbox with test access for slackhack@salesforce.com and testing@devpost.com.

The unlock

The Slack Developer Program sandbox is a full Enterprise Grid org that unlocks RTS / MCP / Agent Builder and is $0 (not charged) — BUT provisioning is human-gated: you need a paid-plan workspace, a card on file (not charged), or a hackathon event code. That gate is the real Phase-0 blocker (see HUMAN_SETUP.md), not "free and instant."
