• Simple query by tag
• Query by path
• Combining sub-queries (AND, OR, negation, grouping; see Obsidian manual) (cf. Support for "or" and "not" in tag queries neuron#358)
• Backlinks?
• Folgezettel children & parents: Add folgezettel queries #476
• Advanced queries (rest of Obsidian spec, as appropriate and interesting)
  • Full-text search query #102

Just registering my extreme excitement at the prospect of emanote reproducing much of obsidian's querying. I've started to really rely on obsidian's queries and then miss them a lot when I head over to my published ema/neuron site.

+1 for following an existing implementation's lead to avoid format fragmentation

Most folks doing data-driven views in Obsidian seem to use the dataview plugin - it's recommended by https://obsidian.md/#:~:text=Dataview.

It would be nice if there were a more intentional attempt at a proposal for a standard.
