Description
Describe the bug
So there was going to be more solar than predbat expected today, (or maybe less house use), so predbat overcharged the battery a little during the night. My expected battery was going to be 100% and I have no export right now, so it's wasted energy. I figured I'd charge the car and tell predbat to dump the battery into it by switching 'car_charging_from_battery'. But this caused both the battery and the car to start charging at full speed from the grid.
I'm no expert but for the standard Sigenergy setup from the docs, i'm not sure the automations actually pass the HoldChrg limit through to the Sigen Integration?
Expected behaviour
When enabling car_charging_from_battery switch, expect Predbat to discharge the battery into the car. Instead battery starts charging from grid.
Predbat version
v8.32.14
Environment details
- Sigen 10kw SP + 2 x SigenStor BAT 10
Screenshots
Car is charging here, charge_from_battery = off:
Turn car_charging_from_battery_on:
And here the house battery starts charging from the grid at 5.73kw
