We now enable pool usage when configuring
JedisConnectionFactory
withRedisSentinelConfiguration
to prevent accidental connections using the non-pooled standalone configuration. Jedis can operate with Sentinel only with pooling.We also reject calls to disable pooling when
JedisConnectionFactory
is configured to use Sentinel.We should backport this fix to
2.0.x
and1.8.x
. We could reject construction ofJedisConnectionFactory
if pooling is disabled. In combination with pooling disabled by default via client config, we'd break existing code.Related ticket: DATAREDIS-765.
