Improve test coverage of Micrometer config adapters #34205
Description
The work by @msobeck in #33743 has shown that we're missing tests for various …ConfigAdapter classes. Those missing tests should be handled separately from checking that we haven't missed any configuration properties.
We can use this issue to cherry-pick some changes from #33743 and then apply the remaining changes on top.
