💜 I'm Kate, nice to meet you! I'm from Liberec, Czech Republic, EU, which is a nice city near borders with Germany and Poland. Come say hello sometimes, I'll show you my favourite places.

👩‍💻 I'm a programmer. I started as a full-stack programmer with a wide toolbox, but since then I started to focus just on frontend. Today, I'm even more profiled into two narrow fields - internationalization (including date/time) and tooling for CI/CD. My experience is sometimes used for architectural decisions as well. Besides that, I can still work with my toolbox full of TypeScript, Angular, and Capacitor without any problems. In my main client's team, I'm accepted as a mentor that can help with any frontend-related problem and can untangle any rxjs mess.

👩‍🏫 I'm a co-founder and an auxiliary mentor at CoreSkill, an aspiring bootcamp that provides highly personalized frontend education. Besides teaching and mentoring, @CoreSkill also works on CoreSkill Skill System, an open source project that provides an oriented graph of basic frontend skills with related info and links that you can use to track your career or studies.

🃏 I'm a passionate trading card games player, focusing on Pokémon TCG as an official organizer and judge and also an emerging TCG called Scratch Wars, where I created two unofficial free mobile apps to make the life of players easier. Sometimes the most basic solution is the best - official Scratch Wars app is clunky and a little confusing, but can do almost anything. My app is clear and fast, and even though it focuses on one thing only, it does it in the best way. Downside is that I currently don't have an Apple Developer Account so my apps are for Android only. I also help to maintain an unofficial client for the game.

🚉 My special interest are trains. As with almost every train lover, my focus is pretty narrow. I love learning stuff about Czech railways and rolling stock, mostly diesel stuff as there are no electric trains near me. I've grown up in a town near Zubačka which is a beautiful cog railway in Jizera Mountains. Today, I volunteer at Želpage on a project that shows which class or which coach goes on which particular train. But on model railway, my focus is totally different. I'm working on a model railway that should resemble railroads of Iwate Prefecture, Japan. It's a beautiful corner of the world and it would be nice to have part of it at home.

☕ I'm a freelancer and even though I have some paying clients, I'd like to focus more on things I love to do, not stuff I need to do. Your support would allow me to help both me and people around me.

• With few bucks a month, I would be able to pay for an Apple Developer account so my free apps would be available in Apple App Store as well.
• With a little more I would be able to take a day off from time to time to focus more on developing and improving my Pokémon organized play group.
• With even more money, I would have more time to focus on my own projects revolving around both internationalization and CI/CD tooling (but not necessarily both together).
• With contributions above anything I can imagine, I would be able to spend time with my special interest of trains.
• Part of each contribution will also be distributed to other people I sponsor, both here at GitHub and through other means.
