Become a sponsor to Joseph
Welcome! My name is Joseph and I live in the USA. I have been a software developer and engineer for more than a couple decades. My first experience with contributing to open-source was in the early 2000s with Xajax, a Javascript and PHP framework for high-performance Dynamic HTML and Ajax integration on the Web. More recently, however, my focus has been on Swarm Development, similar to pair-programming. My desire is to collaborate with other developers in real-time to share knowledge and experience while producing usable software products and libraries. I believe that mentor-ship has a long history of being the best way to pass along skill, let it not be a lost-art.
My goals are:
- Live-coding streams on Twitch and video uploaded to YouTube for anyone to use.
- Small projects on GitHub for use during Swarm Coding sessions.
- Kata style projects for beginners to practice with.
- Advance the spread of principles, patterns, and best practices through mentor-ship.
- Produce useful applications and libraries.
- Share my enthusiasm for technology and software craftsmanship.
If you share a passion for these things, I would like to invite you to join me, whether live or by sponsoring my work. Together, we can make a difference. If you are new to software development or want to grow your skills, consider collaborating in a swarm development session.
