My name is Aitor and I am from Catalonia, a self-governed region within Spain. I live quite close to sunny Barcelona 🌞.

Professionally I come from a Python background. But most of my open-source projects are written in Rust 🦀, the only reason for this is that I ❤️ it and have a lot of fun writing safe Rust code.

I have always shown a lot of interest and natural instinct for maths, physics and well, science in general, so many of my projects are libraries that implement mathematical foundations and algorithms that can be used by others for their own applications.

Currently, my focus and 90% of my time is dedicated to Mushin, an auto-differentiation library, much like what PyTorch or Tensorflow are to Python but in Rust. I would really love to see a similar Deep Learning ecosystem in Rust so I am working on that whenever I have some free time.
