Hey everyone! I'm a Canadian software developer who likes to make experimental keyboards in their free time!

The projects I make try to explore something new with keyboards. The projects I'm most proud of include:

  • beyblock20: a magnetic, modular keyboard system where people can assemble their own keyboard/macro pad from modules.
  • keezyboost40: a low profile keyboard that has a large LCD screen in the middle. With the right firmware, it would have the capability to run applications or play games.
  • banime40: a 4x10 gasket mount ortholinear keyboard. It has support for up to 2 rotary encoders

I always open-source every design for people to make one themselves, or for them to remix in any way they see fit. I also strive to make each design as accessible as possible, by using relatively commodity parts that can be soldered with just a soldering iron.

Seeing that I don't close source my designs and sell my boards via group buys, most of the electrical components and equipment I need to buy come out of my own pocket. With upcoming projects, such as beyblock20 compatible modules, I am starting to reach a point where my hobby is not becoming as sustainable I would like it to be due to supply costs, at least at the rate I'm going.

Your support and sponsorships will help enable me to continue to create new designs, and iterate on existing ones. Most importantly, every single dollar will go back into R&D supplies and equipment, and help me to continue the pace I'm at, or perhaps even go faster!

@ChrisChrisLoLo

Reaching the lofty goal of 5 sponsors would mean a ton to me! On top of covering a good chunk of the supply and equipment cost, it would be a positive signal that my designs have impact! I would be inclined to continue to put as much time into this hobby as I currently do!
