I'm trying to write some tests that more clearly demonstrate intended usage and behavior. I'm trying to decide if I'm just not understanding requirements of the user or if this really is a bug, but it seems making a copy results in attempting to free a resource twice.

Edit: It seems this is due to a bug in gfortran, as nagfor executes and passes the test.
