Ellipsis is the student representative body of the School of Computing & Information Systems (SCIS) at Singapore Management University (SMU). Our mission is to serve and care for our community with initiatives that focus on engagement, holistic development, and fostering a shared sense of identity.
- Welfare Drives: Regular events to motivate and uplift SCIS students by providing goodies and support during hectic school life.
- SCIS Day: An annual celebration to foster strong camaraderie among the SCIS community, past and present.
- Ellipsis Tech Series: A platform for students to learn about industry technologies through workshops, networking sessions, and hackathons.
- Networking Sessions: Collaborations with industry partners to provide opportunities for students to engage in meaningful interactions.
- Company Visits: Organized visits to provide students with a greater understanding of IT-related professions in real operating environments.
- Workshops: Enriching sessions to introduce new and fundamental concepts to assist students in their learning.
- Open Source: Helping SMU students learn more about software engineering beyond the classroom and build a community of like-minded individuals. Open Source Projects will be under another Github Organization Codie Codes.
