I got this error running against WPR a couple of times but then it started to work again.

Ok i think this could have to do with ab63a44#diff-1efb97c4163c7d7cd9a94e2a8a75a79eR44 and https://github.com/sitespeedio/browsertime/blob/master/lib/core/engineDelegate/chromeDelegate.js#L40-L48

The old "fix" for the Chromedriver bug was to exactly get the log twice but that infinite loop could possibly change that.

The bug is now recognized by the Chromium team: https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromedriver/issues/detail?id=1811

I'll just revert that part, and then we can change back to async when the original fix is done in Chromedriver.

No this is something else. We get it quite often when we try to get the devtools.timeline log. I accidentally added another bug for it: #435

Seems to be fixed in 3.x
