It should be edited at the cursor.

The cursor returned to its original place.

This issue is encountered in #2413 (comment) after reverting the magnifier feature, though it looks like this issue already existed with the magnifier.

This could be fixed by adding updateRemoteValueIfNeeded(); right below this line:
