Additional voltage drops in the output current path. #9

There are a number of cables, connectors and devices in the main output and return current paths of driver. These lead to voltage drops in addition to the drop across the laser diode.

Here is an exemplary budget for the low noise side for 100 mA current into a 10 Ω resistor placed right where the connection to the MOPA module would be (note that some components are in the forward and return path and have to be counted twice):

component voltage drop (mV)
10 Ω resistor 998
MOPA connector board ~2 (x2)
47 uH inductor 148 (x2)
1 uH inductor 45 (x2)
HDMI cable and connectors 34 (x2)
Shottky diode 334

Summing all up gives 1.79 V which is pretty consistent with the 1.84 V that Driver reports on its output and that I can also see on the multimeter.
