Why can't I remove categories? Even the one that I have created

When I click the "X" button to remove a category it does not work, I doesn't delete the category. I though it was because the default categories cannot be removed, but it happens also with the ones I have created. So how do I remove them?

Did you unlock it? Maybe it's too hidden, but the cursor is also showing that it's not allowed to prevent accidental deletion.

Sorry I had not notice that button. So yes now it works thank you.
I am wondering, does the changes that I make, deletion and addition of groups and categories, spread to all the years or just the current year I am on?
I have notice for example that if I translate a category, it doesn't reflect to the other years, so I need to manually change the description everytime.

Just the current year, I only use it for the current year and plan at most one ahead. In December I then copy the current state over :) It doesn't assume you have the same groups every year, but to make it easier to manage there's a feature to copy over all data from one year to another.
