Pasted Gifs Don't Animate

• I have searched searched open and closed issues for duplicates.
• I am using Signal-Desktop as provided by the Signal team, not a 3rd-party package.

Overall summary

Recently switched from Win11 to EndeavourOS(Arch) and found that Signal Desktop is not animating pasted GIFs. Was working as expected in Windows, but in 7.56 and 7.57(Beta) Copy/Pasting neither jpg or png formatted gifs animate, they are stuck on the first frame.

Tested pasting them into other apps in Linux (Firefox/Imgur, Discord) and it works as expected.

Did look at closed issues, and noticed there was a similar one from ~2021. Completely unsure if related.

Steps to reproduce

1. Copy (Ctrl+c) animated gif
2. Paste (Ctrl+v) into chat

Expected result

Image pastes, and retains animation

Actual result

Image pasts, loses animation and is stuck on the first frame
