signal app npt available in flathub as verified

• I have searched searched open and closed issues for duplicates.
• I am using Signal-Desktop as provided by the Signal team, not a 3rd-party package.

Overall summary

This is really bad that signal only offer .deb i have a steam deck which supports only flatpak so how can i install this..
And in my home i use fedora which supports.rpm either provide .rpm also or provide flatpak maybe also snap.
I really don't understand what is wrong with signal here.

Steps to reproduce

Provide signal in flathub as flatpak

Expected result

A consistent installation experience out of the box.

Actual result

No proper way of installing signal.

It appears that Signal Desktop is in Flathub, but its unverified. So I definitely wouldn't recommend anyone install it. Signal can get the app verified by placing a simple text file on signal.org. Here are the instructions: https://docs.flathub.org/docs/for-app-authors/verification

I hope they can get this sorted. I'm also on Fedora and can't install the Desktop version.

EDIT:
Rooting around in past issues I found this has been brought up multiple times. I appears that the Flathub app is an unofficial packaging. Tho the maintainer seems willing to give signal.org ownership of the package. #7315 (comment)

this is really bad that signal does not have verified signal app in flathub when signal is the brand of trust and encryption

This is an important issue. I use Signal on my mobile daily. I would like to use it on Fedora too. Flatpak is a universal packaging solution. I have supported similar requests on the Signal forum and I support this request here.
