By CTRL+Enter or Shift+Enter or even Excel-ish ALT-Enter, users need to know which one though :)

Currently we have that old school SMS way with one long line (except for when pasting of course)
I hate doing bunnies with spaces until the line breaks and you dont know how long the receivers line is 😉

Line breaks also need to be enabled for message bubbles
In the screenshot the 2nd bubble should have a line break before the bath and koala emoji

NOtherDev pushed a commit to NOtherDev/TextSecure-Browser that referenced this issue Jul 2, 2015
Line breaks can now be insterted into message box using Shift+Enter or Alt+Enter. Messages with new lines are properly displayed in the conversation view (but only there, to keep inbox clean). The template was modified to allow HTML, but the message itself is sanitized before new line handling is run.

See also #4681 (esp. my post at the end), for some sanity, to make Enter actually work as it should. (Unless you want conversations on the same level as Twitter and AIM. ^^)
