Topshelf

Topshelf is a library that allows you to easily host services on the Window's operating system using .Net. It is also hoped that in the near future you will be able to host this same code on the *nix OSs through the excellent mono project.

While setting up services in Window's land is already easy, we thought it could be easier, and that it could help support the use of better practices in the .Net ecosystem. So that is our goal, if you have ideas of how it can be better please don't hesitate to stop by the mailing list and let us know.
