L4M2 requires much more than just scripting missing functionality, such as reimplementing weapons (though it's being already done/nearly done by one cool guy), learning NextBot system in order to mimic Left 4 Dead 2 CI's and SI's, while it is done by someone's addon in workshop, it doesn't give us nearly enough flexibility that we would've get by writing ourself.
