Translate tool not functional on arm

When trying to use the text translate for the first time an error happens running on arm

Model loading failed: Error: no available backend found. ERR: [wasm] TypeError: Failed to fetch dynamically imported module:

What happened?

A bug happened!

Arm64 running in docker

Hi @bkev , do you mean that "after first time", it works ? Unfortunately, I have no arm64 available to test. Is your docker host that is arm64 or your browser os ? Can you give the full F12 console log ? thanks

It doesn't work at all. Just comes up with that error every time I'm afraid.
The it tools is running in Docker on a arm64 host.
When I try to use it the first time it says "Translations loading" but then there's the error

Hi @bkev, that was a "Vite hell" (worked in dev but not after build), partially related to arm.

By the way, should be OK now.

In fact, as translation is done "client side"/in browser, docker arch "dont care", but on a computer you will execute amd64 and on mobile phone arm64

I've just pulled the docker and tried again but get the same error.
If the fix isn't in docker yet I'm happy to test when it is.

Sometimes, need to force docker pull for latest and some ctrl+f5. On mobile phone, https://sharevb-it-tools.vercel.app/translator works, so docker image should.

I'm still struggling with this I'm afraid. My tools says IT-Tools [v2025.8.24-34373f1a]

If I load incognito browser or another browser I still get an error of

@bkev may be clear your browser cache. Tested on smartphone (arm) and working

I've tried on a few different browser and I still get the same issue.
I think the problem is that the it tools is being hosted in docker that is on ARM.
I guess that when the translate loads the server tries to download the module and one doesn't exist for ARM?

Hi @bkev , Did you docker pull with tag latest ? Is it working at https://sharevb-it-tools.vercel.app/translator
It tools is pure client side so server arch should not change anything

I'm running the latest tag in my docker compose file.
If I try and run it, from the F12 console I get

Refused to load the script 'transformers.web-fc9603f9.js:1 'https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/@huggingface/transformers@3.7.2/dist/ort-wasm-simd-threaded.jsep.mjs' because it violates the following Content Security Policy directive: "script-src 'self' 'unsafe-inline' 'unsafe-eval'". Note that 'script-src-elem' was not explicitly set, so 'script-src' is used as a fallback.
