Couch DB support

Has anyone constructed a binding for Couch?

Anyone is welcome to create a CouchDB integration in a separate repository, but I don't think anyone has done so yet.

Correct me if I'm wrong but it's not possible to write any new adapter, there is no specifications.

I think the closest thing to a "specification" is the existing examples of adapters for different databases:

• sharedb-mongo
• sharedb-mingo-memory
• sharedb-postgres
• sharedb-mysql

mingo-memory link seems to be dead.

Even a "bullet point" breakdown of best practices and core responsibilities for an adapter would be useful. The mysql adapter is pretty easy to follow, but it feels weird to be essentially porting. At least for me there is a benefit in knowing the purpose of what I'm designing. Who knows? Maybe I'll have a good, new idea! Someone else might too.

@curran @sandro-pasquali currently I m fixing the mysql adapter. The max_version query at commit function should be part of transaction and also I m encounter a big problem ~ MySQLDB.prototype.getOps sometimes receives 'undefined' 'callback' param when editing the same doc multi users simultaneously. Currently I m getting lost with that error. Thanks if anybody can help with this :)

I have fixed the mysql adapter for the above problem, and fixed other bugs. The adapter should be stable enough for production with high load. But sometimes still happening 'Gap lock' deadlock.

Hi all, you can check my library for Redis https://github.com/WinMinTun/sharedb-redis . It has also persistence option. I believe it is quite stable, feel free to let me know anything.
