Not able to scan QR code

Describe the bug
Taping the "add" button on the top right corner of the screen and choosing Scan QR code, then "Google Play services error" pops up and it asked me to go to ether Google Play or F-Droid to download something but none of them actually have the app available.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to 'the "add" button on the top right corner of the screen'
2. Click on 'Scan QR code'
3. See error

Expected behavior
Either the built-in QR code scanner pops up or use the zxing QR code scanner as before.
