After the last fix I am getting this error.

what is your python-evdev version? See input-remapper-control --version

this version is 3 years old. Please upgrade

I'll add a log to the console that evdev needs to be upgraded and revert my previous changes. There are potentially a lot more pitfalls. The gui will display an error and the service will exit in the future if the input_props error is encountered
