DOOMbot

A wrapper bot for playing doom in a discord gif using p2r3 doom gif server

Setup

• Install python and pip
• Use pip to install py-cord and dotenv
• Clone this repository with $git clone https://github.com/sergoncano/DOOMbot.git
• Follow the instructions on the discord page for making a bot, then save the token for later
• Create a file named .env inside of the repository folder, edit it so the content of the file is: APP_TOKEN = "[Your token here]" without the braces but with the quotation marks
• Run the command python bot.py. While this command is active the bot you created will be running
• Send 'Doom help' in a channel where the bot is to get more info on how to use it
