Software engineer since 2012 — I build things from network protocols and Rust backends to production React UIs.
I've been a software engineer since 2012 — 6+ years of production React / TypeScript and 4+ years of Rust. I build async network tooling, desktop applications with Rust / Tauri, and SDK-grade React component libraries. I'm comfortable owning a feature end to end: from backend logic and data persistence all the way up to the UI.
Looking for a Rust / React / Full-Stack role — permanent position (unbefristet), open to work anywhere in Germany. Relocation preferred — I'd rather move for the right team. On-site, hybrid, or remote.

A plugin-based framework for exploring network protocols. It connects as a full protocol endpoint to one or many servers over TCP/UDP, reads and sends packets according to defined rules, and presents the protocol in a human-readable form. Grew out of a WoW 3.3.5a console client into a protocol-agnostic runtime. tokio, serde, custom proc-macro derives, TUI on ratatui. → github.com/tench-rt
Werkbank · React Tauri Rust SQLite
A desktop app built for BBZ Korbach (a vocational training center), replacing a multi-tab Excel workbook that carpentry apprentices used to plan their learning projects. It manages trainees and materials (veneer, solid wood, engineered panels, fittings), auto-calculates areas, waste allowances and costs, and generates the full project paperwork — material lists, cut list, cost summary, workflow plan and evaluation sheet, each with barcodes. React + zustand + styled-components on a Tauri shell with a Rust + SQLite backend; fully keyboard-driven; requirements gathered on-site in German directly from the workshop master.
Based in Germany. Open to Rust, React, and full-stack roles with end-to-end ownership.
