Selectize shows 'x' when typing in selectize field

When you type in IE(11 at least) and there is no option to choose and you continue typing, at some point a 'x' is shown. See screenshot from the Demo Page.

This is an Internet Explorer issue with inputs and is not specifically related to selectize.

Check out this Stackoverflow post for some CSS you can use to disable this behavior.

Yes, that's what i think.

The speciality in the case of the selectize is, that the inner input field grows dynamically with the text input. IE seems to display the 'x' at 90px in width. Which, in my case, is about 10-11 characters. And this makes it look weird.
