Oh i know what happened. You're not using the same volume. When you setup volumes like that as you did in seerr compose it creates a scoped volume. So you're now mounting to seerr_overseerr_config. Not the actual overseerr config you used with overseerr. External volumes must be defined as

volumes:
   overseerr_config:
         external: true

But that is if overseerr_config is also not scoped. If its not the above should be at rhe bottom of your compose. Without external true it will create a scoped new volume.

Can you run docker volume ls | grep -i overseerr

Yeah so your actual overseerr config is either overseerr_overseerr_config or overseerr_config. Depends on if on your overseer…
